One of the key services Atlantic Energy Concepts Inc. offers is Energy Audits
The information gained by an audit is crucial to your understanding, budgeting and planning for energy- and cost-saving building upgrades.

Walk-Through Assessments
The initial assessment of a facility requires a physical walk-through inspection of the space and observation of the major energy consuming systems.
These big picture surveys allow a quick and effective method to qualify the opportunities and determine if more detailed assessments are warranted. No detailed measurements are taken.
Walk-through assessments can quickly identify Energy Conservation Measures (ECMS) and allow the client to make no cost / low cost changes to save energy and improve systems operation.
Site Assessments
Targeted assessments of specific energy-consuming systems require detailed data collection of the items listed below. The following energy and cost data allows AEC to generate operating cost estimates and financial analysis of ECMS:
- Utility bills
- Energy usage profile
- Metering
- Staff interviews
- Field measurements
Comprehensive Assessments
When high energy costs create significant energy conservation and efficiency opportunities, the analysis requires extensive collection of data and engineering analysis.
Comprehensive interviews and data collection provide critical input to allow a dynamic energy model to be developed. Information is provided to allow multiple projects to be considered and priorities to be set. Accurate construction cost estimates for the ECMs are developed to calculate Return on Investment (ROI) and Life Cycle costing.
Comprehensive assessments are the basis for a complete Investment Grade Analysis that allows financing and performance contracts to develop the project.
