Position:
Description:	Compensation commensurate with experience and skill level. Full-Time. Candidate must have strong knowledge of lighting design, lighting controls and lighting system analysis. LC or CLEP designations helpful. Excellent spreadsheet and communication skills are required. LitePro or AIG32 lighting design software knowledge or equivalent and CAD experience would be a plus. Experience working with ESCO’s is also a plus. Experience in design of electrical systems for commercial buildings is helpful. Candidate will be required to analyze existing lighting systems for energy performance and offer new designs that will out-perform the existing systems. Knowledge of commercial lighting conservation strategies is highly desirable. New system design will include using in-house tools to estimate construction costs and time required to recover investment (pay-back period). The candidate will work with our existing staff, in a sales support role, and may also interface with customers on a technical level. The position will require excellent time management skills and the ability to take ownership of the tasks at hand. Some overnight travel is required. Skills:	REQUIREMENTS: Formal or technical education in the electrical engineering field would be helpful; 4-6+ years progressive work experience involving lighting design; Demonstrated ability to analyze and quantify lighting system energy consumption and savings when compared to proposed designs; Excellent verbal, written, and computer communication and technical presentation skills; Valid Driver’s License issued by state of residence and in good standing; U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required; May be required to pass security clearance investigation; Travel required up to 25%.
